Artistic Journey
Years of gardening inspire my art. Most of the flowers in my paintings are grown alongside vegetables in my garden in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I previously had an allotment in South West London for twenty years, which was a place where I could also observe a variety of bird life. Each year brings surprises and wonder in the garden. I try to sow new varieties of flowers that I can paint and never tire of the joy and beauty that both native and non-native species bring.
